have you ever heard a fairy sigh? it's a lightly lilting, lonely, beautiful thing. but have you ever felt an angel's grief? it's the most sorrowful and heavy thing in the world. like a warm and beautiful silence of an awkward girl the morning after. it's like wearing fluorescent fishnets on an overcast day and crying raindrop tears out of gold-flecked eyes. I wish my pains were as light as a fairy's. I wish I were more of a child than a sage. sometimes. |
